The Martin Luther Postcard

On October 31, 1517, Martin Luther, a German monk, nailed his 95 Theses to the door of the castle church in Wittenberg, Germany, sparking the movement now known as the Protestant Reformation. In honor of the 500th Anniversary of the Reformation this year, I created the Martin Luther Postcard.

Martin Luther by Lucas Cranach the Elder

The postcard is based on the portrait of Martin Luther done by his friend Lucas Cranach the Elder. It’s printed beautifully on a heavy 18-point stock with a gloss finish on the front and a smooth back.

Back of the postcard.

The back features a red and blue postal/airmail style border. It utilizes a Guttenberg style type for the headings and includes a description of Luther, and the ending of his famous “Here I Stand” speech at the Diet of Worms.

Celebrate our Reformed Protestant heritage with this beautiful postcard. It makes a great collector’s item or gift! Available at my store: http://store.vijayrajwani.com/category-s/139.htm
